GEORGIAN DENTAL (STOMATOLOGICAL) ASSOCIATION

 
 The aim of the Association is to tender an improvement of stomatological service for Georgian citizens and to develop scientific and practical stomatology, for this aim the Association has the following tasks:

• to get acquainted with clinical and experimental experiences in dentistry of different developed countries

• to exchange scientific information and to train medical personals, to sign agreements with foreign countries dental and maxillo-facial associations and dental and maxillo-facial centers

• to organize fundamental and practical scientific research activities in stomatology and to arrange thematic and poly-profiling scientific-practical conferences

• to inform the member of Association about International Dental Forums and to help them participate in international congresses and conferences

• to protect the rights of dentists who are the member of the Association

• to take care of stomatologists’ further post-graduate education

• to publish periodical scientific-practical journal

• to work with students and young dentists

• to organize an assessment and to grant license for doctor-stomatologists, accreditation and license stomatological clinics and certification and registration of dental units, appliances, instruments, drugs, materials, prophylactic means, together with the Ministry of Health
